Digital Leaders 2026 | AI & Tech Careers Edition
The rankings show where universities and schools stand. The map shows what their results reveal. Based on graduates’ real AI & tech career outcomes, ranking positions are converted into a score, the DL points, to compare universities and schools and measure their combined weight across countries and innovation hubs. Start with a school and compare it with its peers. Then see which schools drive a country’s results, where they cluster in innovation hubs, and which countries stand out relative to their population. Explore what changed from 2025 to 2026 and how places 151-200 change the picture.
How to use this map
One global ranking and four specialist ones, mapped across 41 countries and 15 hubs. Pick a ranking, choose how to measure it, then click any country, hub or university to open its card.
What each control does
- View switches between every ranked university or school plotted as a dot, and the world coloured by score.
- Rankings moves the whole map to the Global Ranking or to one of the specialist rankings: Power, Create and Transform.
- Next 50, set apart at the end of the first row, shows the Global Ranking's places 151 to 200. They are there to explore and are counted in no score.
- Measure reads the map three ways: overall strength, talent density against population, or evolution 2025-2026 between the two editions.
- Show hubs draws each city cluster as a bubble sized by the weight of the universities & schools in it, so you can see where the ranking concentrates.
- Filter narrows to a type of school or to the top of the ranking. Every figure on screen follows.
Reading the map
Colour carries the score for every country. The 1 to 5 circles mark the five leaders on whichever measure is selected, so the top of the table can be read at a glance. The key on the left of the map names everything on screen.
Finding your way
Click a country to drill into it, then a hub inside it. Search flies straight to any country, hub or school. Reset view, at the top right of the map, returns to the whole world.
